About Psi-tran’s Founder

David Robinson BSc, PhD, F.Inst.P

David brings 30 years of experience in science and business management for the DTI/BIS, NPL and Serco, to bear on your business needs.

He founded Psi-tran Ltd and has grown its client base strongly since its formation in 2004.

He has managed and formulated multi-million pound government research programmes.

He has developed a strong client base in the Space industry, forming multi-disciplinary bidding teams for engineering and science proposals.

He was instrumental in helping the DTI to establish the first government Nanotechnology programme in the late 1980s.

He is now actively involved in the new BIS/ TSB Micro and Nano Technology initiatives.

He is an expert in optical dimensional measurement systems, and in a range of nanotechnology instrumentation systems.
